Few will ever get to experience this privilege in their lifetime. Situated near Malelane and on the banks of the majestic Crocodile River, Mjejane Game Reserve is part of a fence drop initiative with the Kruger National Park’s Board to conserve our wildlife legacy. Home to free roaming Big 5 and the diverse fauna & flora of this treasure of a biosphere, Mjejane is for those who have Africa in their blood. Mjejane Game Reserve is 4000ha in size with over 10km of riverfront.

Mjejane has its own low water bridge into the Kruger National Park that will allow you private access. A Spa complete with restaurant, pub, viewing hide, curio shop and fitness centre make this one of the most exclusive fractional offers to date.

Preserve this legacy for future generations! This is your heritage!

Approximately 4 hours drive from Gauteng and a mere 45 minutes from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, the reserve is a stones throw from six well known golf courses, including Leopard Creek.

This lodge / house is 860sqm in size.

It consists of 2 open plan areas. There is an open plan kitchen and dining room. The kitchen is fully equipped and the scullery has upmarket appliances. A large fireplace serves this area. The second open plan consists of the games room, bar and lounge. This area also has an internal braai at the bar area. The lounge has a plasma screen, dstv and dvd player with surround sound. A 360-degree fireplace and guest bathroom serves this area. 2 large stacking folding doors open up onto the wooden deck with an undercover patio. Furthermore there is a rim-flow swimming pool, covered Jacuzzi and a boma with fully stocked wood. You are literally a stones-through away from the Crocodile River with the Kruger National Park across the river. Game viewing from the deck will be superb.

A unique feature to this property is an underground wine cellar. A staircase leads you to an old-school cellar with 3 authentic wine barrels that sets the mood. Part of our service will be a full range of white and red wines at your disposal. There is also an authentic dining table and only candle lights.
This lodge has 5 separate bedrooms with full en-suite bathrooms. Each bedroom has a fire place and air-conditioning. 2 of the bedrooms will have double beds and 3 bedrooms will each have 2 single beds. Each bedroom has its own private balcony. This lodge can accommodate 10 people.

There is an undercover parking area for 4 vehicles. The lodge is self catering and you have your own game drive vehicle, game ranger and home attendant at your disposal.

Please note – Mjejane bridge access into the KNP will be temporarily closed until further notice. The Mjejane Home Owners Associations together with SANParks is in process of concluding a permanent bridge access agreement. We recommend all Members utilise either Crocodile Bridge or Malelane Gate as a temporary alternative.

Additional information to take note of:

– Game drives can be arranged at an additional cost in the Mjejane reserve with a game vehicle/ranger
– You cannot drive your own vehicle in the Mjejane reserve on game drives
– Should you wish to cross over into the Kruger National Park using the bridge you would need a high
rise vehicle and the fees using this option are expensive (Kruger Park conservation & Community Fees)
– Alternatively you can go to the closest Kruger National park gates: Malelane or Crocodile entrances
which are approx. 25 mins away

Lovely property with all comforts. Only complaints was when we arrived we didn’t have any idea how to get in. Had to call emergency number only to find that the key was left under the mat. Not the ideal situation. Maintenance needs to attend to items that are broken or not working to avoid disputes with whether they were broken in the first place (just like in our case). No inventory list to check, which can cause further disputes if something is missing or broken.
Lack of communication. From booking the property- no confirmation once paid. I had to send numerous emails before I would receive a response. 3 weeks later and I am still waiting for my security deposit to be returned… unacceptable. Definitely no customer service.

Please also thank Dominique for her help.

Lovely comfy home, but not suited to very small children as there is an electric game fence 1 meter from patio. Staircase and top balcony also not safe for little ones. Otherwise view of bush from top balcony is lovely. House is a duplex so privacy could be an issue if you have noise neighbours
    Efficient and helpful

Had a fantastic time, Very comfortable and clean house with plenty game to be seen right from our own deck. The only issues we had was running out of gas on the gas fire place and being told we are not allowed to light a fire in the other fireplaces around the house. This was a disappointment as we planned a nice dinner with the fireplace in the dining room and instead had to freeze at the table and rush the dinner. We had to ask the management to clean the jacuzzi and it should be done automatically every second day.
What a fantastic company – They certainly went the extra mile!
