Located in the west side of the ‘Malaria Free’ Pilanesberg National Park, and only 33km from Sun City – Black Rhino Game Lodge is the ideal location for a luxurious bushveld breakaway.
The Lodge is built between a Tamboti forest, overlooking a busy waterhole, which is a hive of bird and animal activity. and a playground for the elephant. On many occasions, the stillness of the night is broken by the roaring of lions, and the franklins sing the morning wake up call. Once, you are awakened with a hot cup of coffee, your host ranger will take you out on an exceptional game drive, taking you through Black Rhino Reserve, into the unexplored valley of the Pilanesberg, until we reach the 200km network Pilanesberg Park roads

Black Rhino is a private game reserve, incorporated into the Pilanesberg National Park on the North Western side. This lower lying reserve’s sweet veld vegetation complements the Pilanesberg’s predominantly mixed sour veld. This type of habitat is known to carry a wide variety of game species, and sighting of elephant, black rhino and white rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard are very common.
Home to virtually all of the animal species native to southern Africa including the big five, wild dog, and rarer species such as Roan, Tsessebe and Sable antelope. The Park also offers a number of wonderful picnic spots, numerous hides for game watching, a walk in aviary, safari game drives and hot air balloon flights over the park.

The luxury suites at Pilanesberg’s Black Rhino Game Lodge offer privacy and feature a mini bar, air conditioning, hot beverage unit and television. The patio doors open out into the bush from where herds of impala or a lone elephant walking by can be observed. The designer bathrooms at the Black Rhino Lodge open out into an own private outside shower which is perfect to cool down on a hot day.

The chef at the Black Rhino Game Lodge caters for all exquisite meals in an atmospheric restaurant. Both the bar and the restaurant open out onto the viewing deck making one feel being close to nature.
