Caracal lodge is surrounded by 365 degree views of beautiful grassy mountains, home to the Mountain Reedbuck and Grey Rhebuck, Oribi and Bushbuck which occur naturally in the area. 300 Ha of unspoiled nature completely game fenced and home to the various species of game that have been introduced, including Impala, Livingstone Eland, Zebra, Waterbuck, Nyala, Kudu, Blue Wildebeest and Giraffe.

The shy Red duiker is often seen furtively feeding off the lawns of our 2 Luxury bush lodges. Take a hike or 4x4 drive around the Ranch and you can enjoy the breathtaking views of our beautiful valley and view game at the same time. A babbling brook with crystal clear mountain water feeds our spectacular waterfall where you can enjoy a picnic or sun downer's under the shade of the forest that surrounds it. Caracal lodge has various options of luxury accommodation each with its own special features aimed at lovers of nature and wildlife.

Main House

Home to Karen and Donald, owners of Caracal Lodge. By special arrangement this lodge can be rented for larger groups. The lodge consists of 4 bedrooms all with their own bathrooms. The large kitchen is open plan to the spacious lounge and dining room leading onto the cool patio which in turn leads onto a 130 square meter deck overlooking the pool area.
