Honey Cottage

Honey Cottage is the kind of destination where you go to sleep with the sun and rise with the roosters. Enjoy your hearty country breakfast on the large veranda, breathing in the scent of lavender and listening to the birds having their morning gossip in the ancient oak tree that stands guard over the property. Honey Cottage is located on a working orange farm in Citrusdal and the farm itself offers walking trails, waterfalls and rock pools, great terrain for mountain biking and even a few san art gems if you know where to look. It’s a great outdoor location for active and sporting families.

The cottage sleeps up to seven people, with two double rooms and one bedroom that sleeps three. The large terrace offers great space for an evening barbecue on the Weber and the shady little garden is ideal for lounging in the sun or for a more active family sports game. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen to cater for hungry explorers of all sorts, and when the weather turns curl up with a night cap next to the crackling wooden fireplace. Honey Cottage is the kind of destination where time loses meaning and visitors adjust to the mindset of the countryside almost immediately. After all, as you sit next to a gushing waterfall on a sun baked rock, and eat your country bread and cheese sandwiches, how could you not?
